Shadow looked to the tater tots, untouched, unwanted, and left behind by his companion. He couldn't find himself surprised, considering his appetite had been going down, and yet... he wanted him to eat. He wanted to see him waffle down food the way he used to. He could even shove a chili dog down in a large set of three bites according to Black Knight, at least.

But... no. Not anymore. He wasn't the same now.

Unlike Tails and Amy, however, he wasn't going to let that push him away.

He grabbed the hunks of potato and stared down at them. Someone had to finish them. He might as well do the honors, but just to be safe...
